About us
Our names are Vera Brekhovskikh and Vladimir Kapustin. We are from Russia, now working at the
University of Hawaii. We moved to Honolulu in 1997. We love snorkeling, and about two years ago we bought a camera and began making underwater pictures. Turned out it's a lot of fun. Being able to capture what you've seen and to share it with other people is very satisfying. Besides, on photos you
can see the amusing little details you couldn't have noticed in situ.
We do not do scuba diving and do not have fancy equipment. Everything we picture is within the shallow area off the beach. So, if you've gotten to the sea, this is a pretty affordable hobby - try it!
